And, our collective condolensces to the immediate family of Cruz Amanda de Varona who passed away recently. She was the wife of Elpidio Aguero (RIP) and mother of Maria del Carmen Biosca.
As most of you know, our family is one of many touched by autism... Well, please check this out sent by Rhonda: Autism Speaks created a music video of the Five for Fighting song, "World", which features images of autistic children and their families. The band is generously donating $0.49 to Autism Speaks each time the video is viewed - the funding goes toward research studies to help find a cure. When you have a moment, please visit the link below to watch the video and pass it along to your friends and family. They are aiming for 10,000 hits, but hopefully we can help them to surpass this goal.
REMBE Jr GRADUATES!:
Rembe Jr., finally graduates! - AND, he already has a 'real' job with the Wasington Nationals as "Ballpark Operations Coordinator"... This really fulfills his dream of working inside baseball - so needless to say, we are extremely proud of him!!! So, to celebrate this major milestone in his life:

UPDATE ON ALINA [from Carmencita]
Dearest friends and family,
In early November, I sent an email asking for prayers for my cousin Alina, who was diagnosed with an inoperable & malignant brain tumor. There was very little hope... She began undergoing experimental treatment at Duke (with no guarantees) and was told that the tumor had doubled in size since first diagnosis.
Today we received word that the tumor has responded to treatment and has
reduced by 75%! She is being given hope. Praise God!
Please continue lifting Alina up in prayer, together with Matt Valdes and all those going through this great trial.
The Lord is kind and merciful, Blessed be the LORD!

Iggy's school team placed 6th at the California Tournament were some of the nation's top 16 teams participated... They are also rated #4 in the Northeast Region!!!
