NOTE: These are pictures and videos taken by Reemberto Rodriguez, Sr. They are not perfect, but they are shared with love. (Just like marriage!)... We'll add links to pictures and videos taken by others as they become available... Also, you'll note there are NO "official" pictures of the actual wedding here. They too will be added when they become available. (The last video does include 'pro pix'.)

TOAST AT STATESIDE CELEBRATION

BIENVENIDOS A SILVER SPRING!

La verdad que es todo un placer tenerlos aqui con nosotros en esta ocasion tan especial.

Es increible que ni la caca blanca pudo detenernos de disfrutar junto en amistad y familia.

y aqui estamos!

WELCOME TO SILVER SPRING - yes, THE Center of The Universe! (at least tonight!)

[America’s most exciting suburb - The DC Region’s #1 place to be!]

Rembe, Dana, the Gilgenbach family, the Rodriguez family, the Dominguez family, the Sotolongo family, the Varela family, the Villafane family, and friends - amigos:

Thank you. Gracias.

Thank you for making the effort to be here for this celebration of this amazing adventure.

Dana, a beautiful woman from the heartland - Ohio.
Of strong and proud German heritage.
The best that the USA has to offer!

Rembe, a man made in the USA (ATL to be exact.)
with 100% Cuban parts.
The best that Campina and Camaguey could come up with!

This is one strange combination:
This Cuban - German concoction.

Yet it works!
And it works beautifully so!

Rembe says see you around 7 - which means sometime around 8.
Dana says see you AT 7 - which means exactly at 6:58. Not a minute later.

Rembe takes it in stride - always having things under control.
Dana takes it in succinct syncness - always being IN control.

Dana demands Robert’s Rule of Order, but lovingly so embraces
Rembe’s Rule of Getting it Done.

They are indeed different.
One with roots in the Alpines; the other with roots in south of Appalachia.
Yet they converge at the intersection of love - and the bar!
They are made for each other,
like gin and tonic, like rum and coke.
… like beer - and well, beer!

So to the two of you:

May you always find strength in each other.
Knowing that your family will always be there with you.
Your friends will always laugh with you.
(Your community will always need you!)
...and, your God will always embrace you.

Salud!
