Diversity Is America's Greatest Strength

Flight 292 is now boarding to Miami, as I heard those words I knew I was going somewhere completely different. Miami is not like any ordinary city, it is a city where different customs come together and work as a community. Have you ever heard of the song "Everybody has a Cousin in Miami" by Jimmy Buffet? That song tells us how we are all connected.
The United States of America is filled with diversity including in its landscapes, climate, and people. Its people encompass Europeans, Hispanics, African Americans, Native Americans and Asians. Diversity in its people is what I think is the best quality of America. The reason I say this is because Americans work together, even if someone is black or Asian or Hispanic, we all work together to create a better United States of America.
The different groups that make the United States have given rise to regional concentrations. For example, African Americans mostly live in the South East in states such as Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee. On the other hand, Hispanics mostly live in the West in states that once belonged to Mexico. Some of the states where Hispanics live are Nevada, California and Texas. Another place were Hispanics are highly concentrated is South Florida, of course in the city of Miami and nearby cities. This is the result of the region being in close proximity to Cuba and Latin America. Asians are spread through out America with the West Coat having the greatest concentration.
The reason I think that the diversity of its people is the best quality of the United States is because I it has resulted in the U.S.A. acquiring very talented people. It is the only country where the diversity of its people has played an important role in making the U.S.A. one of the most developed countries in the world. That clearly shows how diversity is a great quality.
Another reason I think diversity of people is great quality of America is because it's a land that offers opportunity to many types of people. Both of my parents were born in Cuba and they have been able to succeed. My mother has a Ph.D. and works at the Yerkes Primate Center of Emory University and my dad works for Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation.
Like my parents there are many, clearly showing that America has many opportunities for every type of people. A big question asked to many people is why people come to America? The answer is opportunity, the U.S.A. is a great country with opportunity for everyone, not just one race or gender, but everyone. That's why so many people call the U.S.A. the land of opportunity. People immigrate to America usually by boat or plane. Both of my parents came by plane. People from all around the world came to America to find a new life. All sorts of people immigrate to America and make the U.S.A. their new homeland. The diversity of people that call themselves Americans is the best quality of the United States of America.
I have reached a conclusion; I think America is the best and most friendly country in the world. So I leave you with this thought, what is better ice cream with sprinkles or with out sprinkle? Most people would say with sprinkles that just shows why diversity is better.
